NASOKI: "The word in Macedonian (my husband’s native language) translates to directions... I often say that I’m in search of something beyond my life in Los Angeles... Here I have been inspired by the architecture and the contrast between the old and new. These are the layers depicted in my work; the lines represent the pillars of fallen buildings, the new on top of the old."
